The short version: we keep your email so we can send you what you asked for, and nothing else about you. Last updated August 13, 2026.
What we collect
If you request a race-day report or unlock a course, we store your email address, and, when you provide them, your race date, race choice, and plan inputs (distance, goal time, weather values). If you upload a GPX course file, it is parsed in your browser — the file itself never leaves your device. That's the full list. No accounts, no passwords, no payment details.
Why we collect it
Your email is used to send the report you asked for, and a short series of training emails tied to your race date. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works with one click. We don't sell or share your email with anyone.
Spectator guides
If you build a spectator guide, the name, bib number, start time, goal time, viewing spots and anything you type in the pacing line are public to anyone with the link, by design. A phone number and post-race plans are added only if you switch them on, and they appear on the public page too. Your email is stored with the guide so we can help you update or remove it, and it never appears on the page. Guides are kept after race day; email us to have one removed.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States, and email is delivered through our sending provider. Page analytics come from Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't identify you personally. We also record anonymous product events (like "a pace band was viewed") and may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the page is used — session data is anonymized and never tied to your email. RITMO sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Weather lookups
When you pick a race date and course, we request a forecast from Open-Meteo for the race's start-line coordinates — not yours. Your location is never requested or stored.
Your choices
Unsubscribe any time via the link in any email. To have your data deleted entirely, email hello@runritmo.com from the address you signed up with and we'll remove it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the email series before they take effect.
